UPS MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

SITUATION
IM Creative produced our fifth UPS Management Conference in March of 2016. The event brings together the top 150 executives who lead the 400,000 UPS Associates around the globe for sessions that are intended to align strategy, shift thinking, inspire action and create culture.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
UPS charged us with disrupting the model for the last few year’s Management Conferences and infusing it with a different sense of urgency and personality than in years past. It not only needed to support their theme - LEAD DIFFERENTLY - but also needed to demonstrate in real terms how this conference itself is taking that mandate to heart.

STRATEGY
We took our inspiration from an illustrated map depicting the company’s strategic plan, and brought it to life in the room using color palettes, scenery, and a style of interaction never before embraced at this event. We took an active role in helping executives align message, we guided content development in workshops, and we ensured that every assumption was reexamined with an eye toward the objective demonstrating how UPS can lead differently.
